LE LOOK DU JOUR

It's Monday Funday (I just say that to make monday seem more fun) and it's time for some outfit inspiration for the week. Here's Olivia Palermo walking her dog in New York in a very smarty casual look. The low sitting leather shorts and slouchy knitted top is the perfect "I'm going to look majorly chic and walk my dog" outfit. I've never walked my dog in heels but one day I will and I hope I will feel as glamourous as Miss Palermo.

PRINTED BELOW THE BELT

If you asked me a few years ago what the biggest trends of 2012 will be, I would not have said printed pants. The association I used to have in my mind went something along the lines of "my mum's hippy pants that smelt of moth balls and oldness." But now I'm loving this trend! I guess you can't predict trends just like you can't predict what's gonna happen in a really good movie (it's almost like watching lost, so many twists and turns). Anyway, it seems that anything can be "modernised" these days and made relevant. I will welcome printed pants (especially the baggy kind) as soon as I find the ones that tug on my heartstrings.
